COMMERCIAL FOREMAN

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass required drug testing.
  • Must be willing to travel for work throughout Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
    • Hotel accommodations provided.
    • Per diem provided.
    • Company vehicle/transportation provided from the office.
  • Must be available to work swing shifts and/or night shifts.
  • Must be honest, hardworking, dependable, and able to multitask.
  • Must be a strong team player with good communication and leadership skills.


 Responsibilities:

  • Lead crews and effectively manage assigned jobs as a Foreman.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial electrical skills, including:
    • Reading blueprints and electrical plans
    • Running conduit
    • Pulling and terminating cables
    • Electrical controls and wiring
    • Lighting
    • Transformers
    • Circuit breakers
    • Troubleshooting and general electrical maintenance
    • Using appropriate testing equipment
    • Understanding and applying the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Perform major electrical tasks required for assigned projects.
  • Electrical knowledge and skills will be evaluated during the interview.
  • EMS knowledge preferred.
  • Preferably 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.
  • Delegate tasks and provide direction, training, and support to a crew of approximately 2–5 electricians and helpers.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to the project schedule.
  • Maintain excellent communication with Field Managers.
  • Manage job-site inventory and materials efficiently.
  • Assist with other job sites and projects when needed.
